Details: Join us for this hands-on Introduction to Sword & Shield Combat workshop, designed for everyone from beginners to seasoned performers. Participants will learn a range of combat techniques, safety practices, staging, and choreography for authentic sword and shield combat performance. This guided workshop also covers key performance skills including intention, reaction, timing, and motivation, as well as the art of story-telling through physical action and movement. Designed for all levels and abilities, this workshop is perfect for actors, actor-combatants, stunt performers, and anyone with an interest in getting into sword & shield fighting for screen and stage.
No prior experience necessary. All equipment provided.
